Statuses are very helpful when you are building citations in the Local Citation Finder. They allow you to keep track of the new citations you have built and get rid of any unwanted sites that are not relevant or don't allow for submissions. However, if you are managing various clients or businesses, it is important to first set up corresponding projects that will house all related searches. This will allow your results with statuses to be isolated within each project, rather than affecting results from unaffiliated searches for other clients.
- To Do
- Submitted
- Got It
- Useless

While you go through your results you will want to:
1. Visit the site to determine if this is a relevant source for your business
2. If the site is not relevant to your business:
- Go to the Status column and mark it as “Useless”, so that is is greyed out in your list
3. If the site is relevant to your business:
- Mark the status as “To Do”, so you remember to come back to it later
- If you prefer to work as you go, create your citation on the site, and then mark as “Submitted”, so you it’s know done
- Or “Got It”(depending on if the website automatically approves new submissions)
